Su Xiuzao, Party Branch Secretary and responsible person of Lucheng division of radio and TV volunteer group, organized the activity of caring for empty-nest elderly people in the morning on April 13th.

The 15-people volunteer group, organized by Su Xiuzao, arrived at the community at 9:50am. The household appliance volunteers not only repaired the broken fans, electric kettles, induction cookers, and rice cookers, but also go into every household to fix large electric appliances. After half a day’s volunteer services, they not only solved senior citizens’ living difficulties, brought their love, care, and concern, but won recognition and praise from the old people.

It is particularly worth mentioning that our volunteers gave up their weekends, which is the time for them to join their families, to provide services to the old people, which is very commendable. However, our volunteers take volunteer work as their ultimate mission and believed that all their work is worthwhile.
